Making the concept of “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour” of His Excellency the President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa a reality, as a step towards building the economy through local products,

The Pelwatte Sugar Factory owned by the Lanka Sugar Company (Pvt.) Ltd. was modernized and the first sugarcane crushing ceremony of this year was held on 18.02.2021.

Jagath Pushpakumara, M.P. for Monaragala District, Chairman of the Lanka Sugar Company (Pvt.) Ltd., employees and Ministry officials graced the occasion.
